IoT devices offer vast opportunities, but the market is diverse. At The Things Conference 2023 in Amsterdam, the breadth of applications was evident, ranging from government to healthcare. What’s needed is a level of device and network maturity that allows users not to have to worry about which device type, which sensors, or which connectivity technology they must use to benefit from IoT. Beyond that, effectively using data to benefit businesses remains a challenge.
