Xiris Interactive Ads - Protecting consumer privacy while providing valuable customer insights
Third-party identifiers, such as cookies and mobile advertising IDs (MAIDs), link users across websites, allowing advertisers to gather data for behavioral targeting. However, regulators increasingly impose restrictions due to these identifiers' privacy concerns. The enforcement of the European Union's Digital Markets Act will lead to stricter privacy laws that limit marketers' access to consumer data.

Europe to see 168% increase in data centre investment as European Commission awaits energy reports
As Europe’s artificial intelligence (AI) ambitions grow, so does the rapid expanse of data centres and the fossil fuels needed to power them. Europe’s market saw a 168 per cent increase in data centre investment compared to the same period last year, according to new research released on Wednesday by the London-based global real estate consultancy Knight Frank. The report found that Europe’s leading cities for data hubs were London, Paris, and Frankfurt.

AI is exhausting the power grid. Tech firms are seeking a miracle solution.
Data centers, the nondescript warehouses packed with racks of servers that power the modern internet, have been around for decades. But the amount of electricity they need now is soaring because of AI. Training artificial intelligence models and using AI to execute even simple tasks involves ever more complicated, faster and voluminous computations that are straining the electricity system. The data-center-driven resurgence in fossil fuel power contrasts starkly with the sustainability commitments of tech giants Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Meta, all of which say they will erase their emissions entirely as soon as 2030.

Britain’s Brewing Battle Over Data Centers
The Labour Party, which is leading in UK election polls, has proposed making it easier for companies to build new server farms—risking a new type of conflict in communities across the country. If they win the election, the Labour Party is planning to treat data center projects as “nationally significant infrastructure” like wind farms or airports, says Neil Ross, associate policy director at industry group TechUK, who has been involved in talks with the party. That would give ministers the ability to overrule local officials who attempt to block data centers from being built.
