Patentpoolen Avanci, med Ericsson, Nokia, Qualcomm, Interdigital, Huawei och 53 andra företag som medlemmar, har släppt priset för att koppla ett fordon med 5G. Det ligger på 32 dollar men den som är snabb kommer undan med 29. Mercedes är den första officiella kunden till Avancis nya licensprogram som täcker 5G men också de äldre standarderna 4G, 3G och 2G. Inkluderat i licensen är så kallade standardessentiella patent från 58 företag.
